I think i suffer from depression?

I think i suffer from depression i am a 14 yer old teenage girl. I only have afew friends and am not popular at school, i used to be but im not now. I hate myself so much and when i read the symptoms of depression online and i think that i could have it but my mam would probably say that i was overreacting and people at school would say i am attention seeking as there already do about another girl in our year who suffers from depression. I dont want to look stupid because even doctors would think im attention seeking cause that's what girls my age are looked at like.
