Best Books on The Renaissance?

For Pope Alexander, at least, I recommend a book called "The Bad Popes" by E.R. Chamberlain. It covers a handful of controversial popes, mostly from the Renaissance, including Alexander VI and his family/court. It's a pretty interesting read.
